Marine Parade, Wategos Beach

The architecture runs on curves, so the joinery had to follow rather than fight it — radiused door fronts, rounded end panels and softened edges carried through every room, not saved up for one feature wall.

Curves are slow work. Fronts are formed and worked back by hand so a radius reads as one continuous line across a run instead of stepping between doors, and every internal corner had to be set out from the architecture rather than from a square wall.

The whole job is finished in hard-wax oil.
